Attorney Bernadette Olmos
Bernadette Olmos is a graduate of Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, and practices in the full spectrum of family law and personal injury cases. She is a registered mediator and arbitrator. Bernadette has extensive experience in handling family law matters and is a dedicated advocate to expand access to justice.
Bernadette is a fellow with the American Bar Association Law Practice Division, a graduate of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute, and Co-chair of Eliminating Barriers to Justice (a seminar on language access in Georgia Courts).
Bernadette is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. She is a member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar and is a member of Atlanta's John Marshall Law School Alumni Board. Bernadette is admitted to practice with the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, United States District Court, Northern District, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Attorney Jacob S. Madsen
Attorney Jacob S. Madsen is a graduate from Emory University School of Law. Jacob handles Family, Personal Injury and Criminal cases. Jacob is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. He is also an active member of the Georgia Hispanic Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
In law school Jacob worked advocating for the rights of children and rights of the accused. He interned with the DeKalb County Child Advocacy Center, advocating on behalf of the interests of children alleged to be abused or neglected. He was a part of the Barton Center’s Appeal for Youth Clinic, representing youthful offenders in the juvenile and criminal justice systems, and the Know You Rights initiative working with at-risk youth to inform young people about their rights during encounters with law enforcement or during involvement with the juvenile justice system. Jacob also interned and later clerked with the Office of the Public Defender, Atlanta Judicial Circuit, representing indigent clients in both Complex and Non-Complex Felony Divisions.
Jacob is an Iraq War veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps. He also serves as a minister with his church. He is married to Lulu, his other interests include the practice of Historical European Martial Arts, the outdoors, and travelling.
